With patients at the forefront of everything we do, subrosa Health & Capital, a strategy and execution services group, enables rare disease, biotech and healthcare companies to gain accelerated access to any market, to patients, to KOLs & HCPs, to elite talent and to capital – from early drug development to launch to lifecycle management through a worldwide connected, intelligent and trusted ecosystem.
subrosa combines strategic market access optimization, end-to-end medical & commercial launch services, unique clinical programs for early patient identification, holistic patient solutions, recruitment, commercial partnering and funding under one roof to meet core needs of the headquarters, shorten timelines, achieve commercial goals faster and leave no patient behind.
Science is our passion, in our genes, we speak the language and know the local markets; we at subrosa Group want to become the leading clinical and commercial catalyst for breakthrough therapies, accelerating the path from clinical to patient impact.
The urgency of now! Move fast, act decisively.
As time is crucial in startup and launch situations, we are constantly on the move, relentless in our determination to speed up all processes, enlarge our range of services and expand our pharma leaders-, KOL- & capital-networks to support rare disease and biotech headquarters with their core needs:
To secure funds, optimize & execute the most effective global commercialization strategy, to recruit patients years earlier than today’s standards, secure their treatment & adherence and supply them even if the drug is not authorized in a market.
A statement from Prof. Dr. Dr. Arndt Rolfs & Georg Nagl on why we built subrosa.

We have a bold vision. We are dynamic and

of our clients - by delivering on promises, taking decisive action, and ensuring accountability.
We are just a small light in the big biotech universe but we work hard
to make a real impact, improving the lives of undiagnosed patients and illuminating the unseen.
Culture is how Monday morning feels on Sunday night.
According to legend, the expression Sub Rosa Dictum (Latin for “spoken under roses”) comes from the following incident: Cupid, the god of sensuality and love, sent some roses to Harpocrates, the god of secrecy, as an expression of his request to keep the love affair of his mother Venus hidden.
In ancient Rome, the Vatican and the High Middle Ages a fresh rose on the ceiling or a rose ornament at the council tables indicated that discussions are conducted discreetly, and in “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown, “subrosa” religious messages, hidden for centuries, e.g., that Maria Magdalena herself is the true Holy Grail, must be decoded by the protagonists.
In this narrative, the meaning of the rose can be traced as a symbol of secrecy and a subrosa meeting shall be conducted discreetly typically to protect sensitive information.
Our solutions are powered by global networks, deep scientific & commercial expertise, unique insights and proven experience. But what truly sets us apart?
The part you don’t see. The silent edge. The confidential layer.
That’s subrosa, we stand for discretion, depth, and discovery. In an environment where rare disease patients are mostly beneath the surface, subrosa operates “under the rose”, quietly but powerfully uncovering insights, illuminating the unseen and identifying new patient populations.
While the pace of change is increasing, subrosa Group delivers confidential and sustainable impact for the global commercialization - as a trustee of our biotech, startup and venture capital clients.
